Formula 1 Blemish Control
Gel (100ml)
is an exfoliating product, and the first-stage
treatment for severe acne, bacterially-infected
blemishes, congestion and inflammation, with its
antiseptic powers coming from Aussie tea-tree
(melaleuca) oil.
Mimi says:
“Formula 1 is an incredibly powerful way of tackling
acne without drying out the skin. It’s also terrific
for relieving stings and insect bites, and stops
itching in its tracks, making it effective on
related conditions like eczema. I’ve found it’s also
great after waxing, for clients with really
sensitive skin!” |

Formula 2 Reparative Gel
(100ml)
is also an exfoliating product, either the
second-stage treatment for acne which is coming
under control, or as an “entry level” treatment for
milder acne conditions.
Mimi says: “I
specially blended Formula 2 as a milder way of
dealing with fatty buildups under the skin, or
enlarged pores or an oily ‘T-zone’ (that’s the nose,
forehead and upper cheeks). It still retains the
antiseptic properties of the tea-tree oil, but I’ve
blended in some jojoba oil to help normalise the
skin’s own oil levels.” |

Rebalancing Cream Problem
Skin Moisturizer (50g)
is a penetrating product, specially designed to keep
angry skin moisturized and hydrated without feeding
any underlying infection ~ a difficult challenge
with severe teenage acne, for instance.
Mimi says: “The
temptation with bad acne has always been to try to
‘dry out’ the infection ~ usually with damaging
side-effects to the skin’s overall condition. This
new product still has antiseptic tea-tree oil, but
I’ve blended lavender, avocado and other natural
oils for a light and soothing finish which doesn’t
leave your skin feeling ‘clogged up’!” |
